The Love Story behind Love Handles

Our story starts back in 1970 when two junior high school teachers, Bill and Mary, first met. Fast forward 28 years. We got married and soon moved to sunny New Mexico, where the riding is superb! We loved it, but that great old Yamaha we’d been riding in Chicago was huffin’ and puffin’ up the New Mexico mountains, with Mary holding on for dear life!

So after many Saturdays at our local Harley dealer, “Lola” entered our lives. Sort of a funny name for a big, juicy Fat Boy, but you know how the song goes, “Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets.” Same can be said for Mary, because even with a great bike, cushy seat and sissy bar, there was nothing to grip on longer rides. “Hey Honey…what we need are some armrests ~ just like we have in the car!”...and Love Handles was born, giving her (and you) something comfortable and secure to hold onto.

8 Years later...
Now our customers throughout the US and internatially love their Love Handles and the accessories we've developed to go along with them. They love the comfort. The new-found feeling of security in turns, in wind, over bumps. Easy on & off for the passenger, quickly detachable for the biker .All chrome, black anodized aluminum and the feel of leather. By the way, we build Love Handles right here in the USA, working with great fabricators and upholsters, because we think keeping the jobs here is the right thing to do.
